Hi there!

Im a 26 year old irish girl who has kived in the UK for the last 7 years. I'm a radiographer by trade but I decided to take a career break just over a year ago so that I could travel the world.

I have just spent the last 12 months travelling around Canada, central and South America. I've now landed in beautiful New Zealand for the last leg of this amazing adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people from all over the world and learning about different languages and cultures. Couchsurfing is an ideal way to meet the 'real' people of the area and get a locals tips and advice about things to do, where to eat etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 5 day trek to machu picchu... which I know is something 100s of people do every day so it's not really that unique or special. But growing up watching documentaries about travel, it was always somewhere I would say to myself someday I'll go there, but I never really believed it. So accomplishing that dream was something amazing for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always looking to learn more about different cultures or practice languages. I learned French at school although it is very rusty and I picked up sone spanish while traveling around latin america, which I try to use if I get the opportunity.

Sharing travel stories I think, is one of the best ways to get ideas for future travel and also help keep your own travel memories alive!
