ABOUT ME

To answer this I looked at the girl I'm taking a cross country road trip with, "what would you say?" Answer: "Passionate! Easily excited!"

I'm a college grad with a teaching certification in Secondary English lit. Jack Kerouac and Hunter S. Thompson helped me fall in love with English and sparked an intense desire to travel the country by car. Since reading those books I have said I would take a trip to Cali and back, by car, on as little money as possible. So here we are. I'm 3 years sober, I've finally graduated college, and am financially stable enough to wander the country for over 2 weeks.

The current mission is San Diego Pride and back at the end of July. After that, who knows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first road trip was to Mountain City Tennessee, Miami, back to Tennessee, and back to PA. It took me about a week. I went with total strangers and that trip got me sober and changed my life. It was my first real life taste of the Jack Kerouac dream life I'd always wanted and it got me hooked. The best moment of the trip was walking onto the sand in South Beach, Miami, Florida and realizing we actually made it.
