About Me

Irish lawyer, vegetarian and sports fanatic living in London after three years spent living in China and the United States.
Passionate about travel, in the past three years I have traveled to Europe, the United States and South East Asia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is nothing more important to me when travelling than the incredible people I have met along the way. Throughout my time travelling independently in the last few years I have met some of the most interesting people I today count as true friends. The Couchsurfing community presents an incredible platform for me to expand that international network of friends: to meet new people, see wonderful new places and continue to learn, challenge my ideas and grow.

Interests

Passionate sports fan. Golfer, soccer player and hobbyist tennis player.

Fan of literature and hack creative.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fan of rap and folk (I acknowledge these genres don't necessarily complement each other). Everything from Earl Sweatshirt, Run the Jewels and Death Grips to Bon Iver and Iron and Wine. Wedged in between the cracks of this splintered taste are Pink Floyd, FKA Twigs, Swans, Youth Lagoon, Jamie XX and Tame Impala.

Currently reading Fanon’s ‘The Wretched of the Earth’. Fan of Jon Ronson and historical non-fiction. Happy to talk about literature ad nauseum if given the opportunity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove one hundred and fifty miles along the beautiful Hai Van Pass, Vietnam on a bike among a number of friends. Thrilling ride in the most incredible setting imaginable, capped with a traditional Vietnamese iced coffee at the at the peak of the Pass.
