PHILOSOPHY
Follow your God's plan for your life even when I don't understand. Take risks and be uncomfortable, that's when life starts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf, and host and go to meet ups!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Everywhere I have traveled over the past 14 years I have used couch surfing! Its been great, met great people, and learned a lot! If you host me, I promise that some how someday I will find a way to repay you. I really really respect couchsurfing hosts who open their hearts and world to me as it is such an awesome things to do. I try to host as much as possible when I am at home, although unfortunately I haven't had a lot of opportunity to due to roomates/ lack of room and a stable place to live. I really want to make a point of hosting one traveler a month once I return home and have my own place for the first time starting in the new year:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Grise Fiord the most northern permanent community in the world where I worked as a social worker for three months. I got to see polar bears, hunt for seals, snowmobile and experience life in an extreme setting with wonderful people.
Teach, Learn, Share
This is my travel blog: http://ciaranfree.blogspot.ca/ but hasnt been updated in years
What I want to learn:
If I am asking you to host me it isn't a money thing, I don't travel just to sight see. Couch surfing is a great tool, as it has allowed me to connect with so many people around the world and learn about people, cultures, and allowed me to see things I wouldn't know how to otherwise see. I am asking you to host me because I am genuinely interested in meeting you and sharing a bit of our time on earth together to have a great time and become a better person because of it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
What I can teach/ share you that I have found popular from previous surfers:
1- Cooking Western food
2- Going on adrenaline adventures from theme parks to hikes to anything in between
3- How to travel to different parts of the world the right way (I have been to a lot of places)
4- I love any type of active stuff, and I can teach you if you want.
5- I get a lot of good feedback from other countries that I am a funny "CRAZY" guy and that I am very different from other people in that I have these crazy ideas and things I want to see and do while traveling. My favorite two things I did while couch surfing:
### Bought a big pig for a slum area in Manilla and me and my hosts and the locals had a huge feast and party with everyone.
###Drove with my host around Jakarta by scooter through the biggest rush hour in the world and destressed twice by going and singing Karaoke in a private room, before this I never sang, and now i love it!
