I like to try and see the best in people and situations, there are always reasons to be joyful in life and there are always reasons to be glum...it's all about where you choose to focus!

Music is my passion, I have been a musician and entertainer for most of my life and have been lucky to travel the world doing so. I like writing, playing, listening to & experiencing music in all forms!

I love to cook and take pleasure in cooking for loved ones, friends & family.

I can be equally as happy in a lively venue as I can in a tranquil field, it all depends on the mood of the time and the current energies. I believe that life is a string of moments, not a linear path :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My girlfriend and I are embarking on a travelling journey around the world and are excited to have the opportunity to meet new people and share adventures along the way! We're going out with the first few destinations in mind but then are going to take it as it comes and see which way the wind blows, being as free spirited as we can!

Having used Couchsurfing with a friend before I feel it is a fantastic way to really experience a place in a unique fashion, meeting great new people along the way and sharing stories and experiences together :)

We are both lovers of people and believe it's people, not money, that make the world go round and every single person has something to teach you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a lot of things which I'd describe as "interesting" or "exciting" but I'd struggle to describe them as "amazing" when I see the genuinely amazing feats of human endeavour carried out by people across the globe every day. Surviving persecution, going without food and water, fighting on the frontline for the rights of others...now that's amazing!
