ABOUT ME

So, my name is Cibele, I'm 26 years old and I moved back to Brasil last year after living in Canada for almost 9 months studying both English (6 months in Ottawa) and French (2 months in Quebec). I'm very interested in meeting new people, making new friends, learning new things and keep traveling! I try to make the best of things, trying to get everything of the situations, always trying to look on the bright side. "Enjoy it, it's your last chance anyhow!", right?

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in honesty and kindness. And doing the best with what is given to you, I've been fortunate all my life and am very grateful for it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tend to be shy when I first meet someone, but it easily switches and then I'm very talkative. I can be sociable, but can also keep to myself at times. I enjoy just hanging out with someone else, having a beer, talking.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had only two experiences with couchsurfing so far and they were both awesome.
I stayed four days in Toronto and had the best time with a friend, the host and his friends.
In December and begining of January I stayed in Ottawa for 17 days with my cat. Met a lot of different people from all over the world and had some great times.

Interests

I love music and singing. I play a little guitar and a little piano. I love dancing, but am not any good at it, but I hoopdance and am not bad at it. I've also been in two small plays this last year and had an amazing time doing it. In short, I am fascinated by all art forms and not really great at any of them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love art in general, but the thing I'm most passionate about is music. My favourite band is Radiohead, but I listen to so many different types of music that is hard to talk about it here, but I'd love to elaborate over a pint.
The same thing about movies and books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Canada all by myself to be with someone. Even when that didn't work out I stayed there, had an amazing experience and always tried to make the most of it.

I'm an english teacher and a native portuguese speaker, so if you're interested in practicing these languages I can definitely help you with that. :)
