Sobre Mim
I'm a person who loves to travel, to exchange knowledge and I believe cultural exchange to be the most fulfilling experience I can go through!
I've been living in Italy for the last year and a half, I got my citizenship a few weeks back after a long process and now I'm ready to go out into the world again!
I'm an easy going person, usually tend to be on my own and I'm used to getting by all alone. I like to get lost into the cities and talk to the local people, have a conversation with the waitress, with people from the local market ¡oh! that's one of my most favorite things to do: VISIT LOCAL MARKETS. It came from when I visited the local Perú market in Cusco, I just loved the experience.
I love to put on some music in the morning and have a calm moment to enjoy the sun.
I don't tend to go out that much, I actually don't drink alcohol. Yes! I don't! Really, as real as my name being Cibeles, and yes, it is my real name! Now you know which are the most frequent topics I have to attend to when talking to the world.
To sum it all I have a phrase: MY PASSION IS TO BE PASSIONATE.
So I will be interested in learning mostly everything I come across with.
Por que estou no Couchsurfing?
When I decided to move abroad I had and idea in my mind about the country I was going to that was the one the media had sold me and, not only the media, but the view we have as a Latin American and South American country about Europe. But when I got here I realized you cannot know until you are really there and experience it yourself.
Another conversation that really hit me was when I was talking to my friend and her mom and they told me: oh this place is beautiful, we loved it, it was amazing, oh but yeah, don't turn your sight into another direction cause you see dirt, poverty and a lot of horrible things....
So it really got me thinking, what am I really getting to know when I go and close myself into the mainstream tourism experience?
Thats why I'm looking for hosts that will help me have a more cultural experience instead of going and doing only the mainstream turism stuff. Just sharing a bit of your life is enough or giving me advices on where to go besides the places I can look up on the internet!
I don't have references cause I never really truly bothered about getting them, but I'm a reliable person, I have been host and guest many times in my life and I'm a very attentive person, I have travelled all over Argentina and stayed with many people, but most of them weren't here!

I'm a musician. I'm making the really hard choice to leave my childhood guitar here in Italy until I can get it sent to me. I'm a song writer and singer, love to sing, even though this experience with paper work has taking a toll on myself and my willingness to be consistent with singing.
I love listening to everything I can, exchanging music is a an important thing for me! I don't get stuck in one type gender. So I would like to learn about typical instruments and music!
Movies like them, but I'm more of a TV show type of gal, I binge watch and enjoy it a lot. I tend to be watching 3 or 4 at the same time.
Medical books took a bit part of my willingness to read in general, but lately I've been trying to go back to it, but it takes time! It's true that when I get to reading most of the time I end up studying a language, the last book I read wasn't just for fun but to learn Italian, cause that's how I thought myself. Now I'm trying to teach myself Japanese... hard.
