About Me
Hello!
I am currently spending a couple of months in France with my family (helping with a house build) as a break between travelling. I got back from a lovely long North and Central American trip earlier this summer and am heading to India in January 2020. I am British and have also lived in France (7 years), Belgium (2 years) and Spain (1 year). I love travelling, exploring, learning (teaching and sharing!) languages and eating delicious meals along the way.
After uni, I worked and saved up to start travelling with intentions and ideas - to learn about different cultures, volunteering, community life, different aspects of permaculture and living closely with the Earth, discover new interests, experiment with natural medicines, practice more yoga and meditation and be the best version of myself. I really like cooking, baking, writing and recording interesting things I do and discover, crafty things, sports (hooping, cycling, swimming, hiking, diving, dancing, kayaking etc.), camping and any sort of adventure...
I am clean, respectful and tidy; and also always up for an evening of socialising and a laugh.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I lived in a house-share in university we had quite a few couch surfers come and stay - but always through my housemate’s account. We quite often ended up having really lovely long meals and interesting discussions with our guests and I really enjoyed this. It was really fun showing people Brighton as a host.
I am looking to do a bit of couch surfing along this trip so that I can travel for as long as possible and meet some great people! I’ve left my friends at home so am definitely up for making some new ones :)

I have many interests and am enjoying developing them as I travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like dystopian future novels and fantasy. I’m also trying to read more feminist literature and Celtic folklore this year.
I like listening to all sorts of music and podcasts too, I’m always listening to something. Comedy, current affairs, true crime...
I love music! My speaker being stolen has been one of the saddest and hardest moments for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went wwoofing in Spain for 3 months by myself when I was 18 and fresh out of school. I made myself just do it, speak Spanish and learnt to really enjoy being alone and my independence.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook you a veggie meal, read your Tarot cards, teach you how to knit, share some funny stories, listen to your deepest thoughts, chat to you in French and say that really long Welsh village’s name!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share a meal, a laugh, a story, a walk, whatever knowledge I can share with you...
