I recently left my job in tourism to become the tourist. The dog and I are traveling around enjoying small town America in its various forms.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Part of experiencing the countryside is meeting the people who live there. You don’t truly visit a place without learning the local perspectives. It’s all part of the fun.

Interests

My favorite thing to do while traveling is stopping at little roadside oddities and abandoned places. Taking photos of these places is more memorable than any keychain.

Like most people I claim to listen to most everything, but I enjoy indie and r&b most. As for movies, comedy is my favorite by far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The year I turned 20 I traveled to 13 states. Mostly alone, however, I did have a friend join for a portion of it.
Also, getting to see Chichen Itza during spring solstice was absolutely amazing!
