CURRENT MISSION

To learn about, travel, and live in places I have never been before in the United States and abroad with my amazing fiancée Charles! I look forward to meeting and networking with new and interesting people, and to become exposed to new cultures and perspectives!

ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Cierra! I like to go camping, hiking, and exploring. I enjoying singing, road trips, attending social events, and cooking. I am a very social person, and love meeeting new people. I think myself to be very amiable and easy going! I am a member of Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority, and graduated from Arizona State University with my B.A. in Early Childhood Education, and my M.A. in Family & Human Development. I previously taught home room kindergarten & pre-kindergarten, and am currently working remotely creating early childhood content and curriculum for the Arizona Science Center. I love to read and especially enjoy any kind of science-fiction or fantasy books, as well as suspense and thriller novels. I enjoy any kind of mytholgy and especially am fond of Greek, Norse, and Egyptian mythology and history. I am a big movie buff, and love any and all kinds of movies. I have a long list of places to visit, adventures I want to experience, and things I want to do, and I am hoping that participating in this organization will help me to accomplish some of those goals! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently attend some of the social events that happen in the Valley, like BBQ's, dinners, game nights, bar crawls, and hikes! I am unable to have other surfers stay with me, but would like to begin surfing myself! I have also been recommending this organization to some of my friends and do some networking!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am fairly new to couchsurfing, and have not had too many couchsurfing experiences, but the people I have met and the events I have attended have already made a positive impact on me. I am eager to become more involved in the community, and begin to visit some new places!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had an amazing experience traveling with fellow couch surfers to Colombia, South America one summer :-) I will never forget the friends I made and my experiences there.
