About Me
CURRENT MISSION
keeping my head above the water (mother of 5, mostly under 5y)
ABOUT ME
Hi. I am a friendly 37 years old, somewhat hyperactive, physician and mother of 5 . Despite everyday "hardship" I am still a free spirit. I like to wander around a lot, although in recent years mostly between playgrounds and carpools. I an quite familiar with my part of the world- physically and culturally. I enjoy fresh sqeezed orange juice and chocolate milk although not so much coffee or tea.
PHILOSOPHY
Never got along well with philosophy, dont think or feel in that sphere. I feel very "down to earth". People say about me that I am a "doing" person and not a "being" one.
Maybe I'm missing?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Would be happy to meet and entertain in my "adult time" after 9pm or during one of my free mornings in the middle of the week.
If you have children... I could recomend activitis and places. If you have kids more or less our ages (6months-9years) we would be happy to try and do something together.

Interests
I'm interested of course in rasing children, with a "sub specialty" in ADHD. Besides that I'm interested in medicine and I try to keep up to date. I like to read a lot especially very good books. I have many friends who are very dear to me. I like company. I like to walk a lot- wether in urban streets (or stairs- as Haifa is built on a mountain), shopping malls or along "wadi"s (the arab nane for narrow vally between 2 hill a river).

Music, Movies, and Books
Dont get to see to many movies, although I cant stomach very violent material. My husband downloads a lot of american TV series and I like to watch: House, Des houswi, Law & order CI, British dramas, Wheeds...I liked Oz but it was hard to watch.
I dont have an ear for music.
As I said- I try to read a lot "well written" books, although I can enjoy the glossy womens magazzines. Recently read Absurdistan and, being a jew, familiar with Russian imigrants, laughed a lot. love John le Carre both old and new writings. Enjoy delightful human descriptions of Jane Austin of course.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Managed to survive when my husband got ill with a debilitating disease and spent 8 monthes in the hospital - half a year after giving birth to twins ( children 3+4 in the family). All that was 2 and a half years ago.
Teach, Learn, Share
My first career (chronologically) is family medicine. My second career is parenting.
My third "career" is managing my ADHD child.
Being a curious person I know a lot about where I live. ( phisically, but not politically).
