Born and raised in the heart of Germany as a descendant of turkish parents I am uniting the best of two worlds.

After my bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering (ICT and Management) at the University of Duisburg-Essen I went to Tianjin/China for my internship at Volkswagen. Later the atmosphere at Volkswagen changed and I had to move on.
Now I am living in Erlangen (Bavaria) and working for Schaeffler Technologies.

I am a big sports fan! I am working for the former Bundesliga champion Borussia Dortmund as a Volunteer since 2010 and attend virtually every home game and many matches away. It is a good reason to travel discover entire Germany and many places in Europe.

Besides I am playing Baseball in the German Fourth Division but I really love to do every other team sports like Football (I don´t mean the American Version!), Basketball, Badminton, and so on...

My biggest hobby by far is traveling and discovering the world! The world offers so many different and fascinating facets. It seems impossible to absorb all the impressions of the different cultures, peoples and perspectives but I am on my way to try it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Often I utilize opportunities like business trips by combining it with holidays and so I have to travel by myself. But I don´t like to be alone all time rather I love to share time, expierences and adventures and I love to connect to different people from different countries and have fun and good conversations with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I nearly love every kind of music. From turkish folks songs to american pop songs. Not much heavy metal but more hip hop and rap. When I started to play piano classic music become a part of my favority music as well.
To intensify my traveling I really work myself up with local music. I started to listen to chinese radio before I went on my trip to China =D

It´s difficult to abstract particular books or movies. It depends on the quality not the genre. From Science Fiction (both movies and books) to documentaries, biographies or comedy. I like to spend my time with all of these when I am at home.

A good time! I am very pleasant guy and very curious. Whatever you are interested in, I am too! We can talk about all the world and his wife or just go on adventures. I love to attend every kind of events, from concerts, sport matches or exhibitions. I like to learn everything about cultures and history by visiting places or museums. And at the end of the day there is nothing better than having frisky dinner and turning the night into day!
