We are open-minded and we like to explore. It is exciting for us to recognize different cultures and different lives. We want to travel all over the world for this purpose. We have waited the day that we will have optimum conditions for a long time but we noticed that time and tide wait for no man.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually one of the reason that we are on the road is to recognize different cultures and understand the state of the world better.
When we spend our time with local people, we can understand deeply the culture.
This is so important for us.

Music, Movies, and Books

Aslı: I don’t really have a favorite type of music. If a song comes out on the radio and it catches my attention, I find out the name and the artist or group. But of course I do not like all genre of music.
I used to listen rock'n roll, even some metal, when i was teenager. I still like to listen rock'n roll but mostly oldies legends. But in addition, the music genre that i like to listen has expanded considerably. For example; blues, jazz, country, new age, instrumental, classical, dance, electronic, pop...
Discovering an old or new cultural song is always precious to me so, i do not restrict my self with certain genres.

Cihan: First of all, I must say that I am such a movie lover and i really watch so many movies in a year. I love certain movies for different reasons in different contexts. But when you ask me what is mine favorite movie? It's an impossible question to answer. They all touch me in different ways. I'm drawn to them because of their genres, because of where I was in life when they debuted, and because of what mode I'm in at any given time.

We like to read world classics and history books.
