I have couchsurfed in Paris, Valencia, Luxemburg, Lisbon, Mechelen, Budapest and Madrid and it was all great experiences :)

As my field of interest in all arts is wide, I can, almost without blinking, say that I'm interested in all kinds of movies, music and books.

But:
Since I used to study film, I guess it's natural that I prefer the ones a bit more artsy. I love these movie directors: Kubrick, Antonioni, Polanski, Tarrentino, Ettore Scola, Guy Ritchie, Truffaut, Godard, Marco Ferreri, Lynch, Jim Jarmusch, Luc Besson, Hitchcock and the list goes on.

In music all genres speak to me depending om my mood. I had a period where I listened to all kinds of different types of world music. I enjoy pop when dancing. I mostly listen to rock and jazz. When rock it's both old-school (Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Clash ect.) and more recent and indie (Modest Mouse, Radiohead).
Jazz wise I love the old great voices (Ella Fritzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Billie Holiday, Armstrong, Nina Simone).

I would love to read more that I have time to. I've bought many books I haven't read yet. I love to read the old classics.
I prefer short stories and poems - probably mostly because of the length. I love Hemmingway and Danish writer Herman Bang.

I'm passionate and know a great deal about movies, music, art and like to philosophize about all of life’s questions. I’m also very internationally orientated: half Swiss and half Danish and have an English stepfather - so I love and enjoy different cultures. So if others find some of the same things interesting, we could have great conversations.
