About Me

I am on a Sabbatical in Service. Creating thriving ecosystems and achieving equanimity are my work in the world. As a systems thinker and someone who helps people make sustainable connections, I would love to help you discover the work you are meant to do in the world. If you are stuck in a job that is not engaging or rewarding I can help you learn to apply your values gently.

I am a practicing Buddhist, ecological designer and teacher who loves music, meeting new people, and helping to create productive spaces which satisfy our need for the spiritual. Beauty and Truth are very important to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling helping non-profits implement systems improvements, training in sociocracy (dynamic governance) permaulture design and spacemaking. If your organization is interested in improving efficiency and learning how the permaculture principles can be applied to your infrastructure as an operating system, please get in touch!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2009, while finishing my MBA in Sustainability I began training myself as a digital journalist. My friend was the founder and host of Sea Change Radio. I asked him if I could go to COP15 as the representative for his show and he allowed me to. He provide me with some equipment and advice for learning the ropes. I contacted Bill McKibben and asked him if I could meet him at a conference in MA to interview him. This was in early 2009. He was my first interview.

I spent most of December 2009 in Copenhagen interviewing world leaders. It was one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences of my life.
