ABOUT ME

I'm a Louisiana-born, Texas-raised reporter who can't stay in one place for too long. Anytime I go too long without a change of scenery, I tend to get restless. I enjoy cooking, outdoorsy activities, reading and making the occasional attempt at being creative. More than anything though, I love having the opportunity to learn about people and places around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a couch for surfers...yet. But I hope to be able to be an active part of the surfing community. And, of course, I'm always up for meeting and making friends with anyone who decides to take a trip to my corner of the world.

Interests

Anything outdoors: Running, hiking, camping, backpacking, etc. If it involves trekking through the jungles of Guam, hiking along the mountains of West Texas or rafting through South Carolina rapids, I'm in.

Other activities: Cooking (You don't grow up in New Orleans, La. and not learn a recipe or two), chatting about politics or current events or general socializing--anything where I get to meet people.

And of course, traveling when I get the chance.
