ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Canada, lived in Singapore, Taiwan, London (UK) and now currently reside in New York City. Living in different corners of the world has led me to really understand the importance of travel and opening oneself to different cultures.

I'm constantly hit with the travel bug and I get antsy if I stay in one place too long without traveling. But I'm sure a large majority of you couchsurfers are the same..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Quit my life in NYC and now I want to start a new adventure in Europe. I love meeting new people and have tons of stories to share. I've had many amazing CS experiences, and a large part of my friend group came from ppl I met through this platform. I'm in the process of settling, but once I do I definitely want to start returning the favor of hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in Berlin, Milan, Rome, Barcelona, Amsterdam and have met only cool and kind people along the way. I'm in transition in terms of settling now. But once I secure my own flat, I will definitely want to start hosting. Its such a great way to meet like-minded adventure seekers!

Interests

Singing is a passion, and in the past I have worked on and off with different musical acts on projects. The drunken karaoke night out is also one of my favorite things to do :)

I like Food. All cuisines. Even ones I've never heard of. Japanese food tops the list.

Other then that, I also enjoy reading quirky fictions, writing sarcastic blog posts, walking for hours around cities, movie binging, and the lemon jelly part of lemon tarts.

Hate: Birds. Particularly pigeons, seagulls and crows. Just no.

Music- Varies depending on mood. House (deep/minimal) techno, Electronica, pop, rock, classical...Massive Attack, the Xx, Yeah Yeah yeahs

Movie- Snatch

TV Shows- Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Orange is the New Black, Broad City, Peaky Blinders, Sherlock (like seriously have a Netflix obsession.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sticking my head out of a car on the way to a ski trip during a winter drive when temps are were -20C. Stars are way brighter in the winter, so bright that it felt like I could reach out to the sky and grab em. Magical, but headache inducing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My quirky sense of humor, lots of laughter, maybe a song after a couple glasses of wine, and just some good genuine company.
