Hello! I'm Cina, free bird, a loving and curious soul. I am passionate in ecology, farming, people, culture, music, dance, sports, and all the things that make our life full and intense! I love travelling and being in nature, the only place where I feel completely at home. I love being spontaneous and not planning too much in my life :)

I come from southern Italy, although in the last years I have been living in Turin and France studying Intercultural Communication (mostly focused on Cultures, Migration, Languages, Anthropology, Sociology and Development Cooperation) and then in Sweden for my masters in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science. I'm deeply interested in these topics which bring together the social and environmental care.
I have traveled a lot in the past years to explore different realities, sustainable practices and experience community life, and did my Permaculture training (certified PDC) two years ago in Portugal.

My dream is to continue travelling and learning more and more about it until maybe settling down and creating a vibrant and inclusive place where human and environmental regeneration can take place. I am super interested in discovering new sustainable practices, alternative technologies, sustainable living ideas!
I love all kinds of sports, from yoga to swimming to running and biking, which I regularly practice in my everyday life: I really can't stand still! I especially love outdoor activities, and surfing and windsurfing in the first place. I lately discovered a passion for climbing, acroyoga and slacklining which are my top 3 at the moment and I would love to improve.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people, sharing ideas and points of view: all the best traveling experiences I've ever had were when I was hosted or could get in touch with the locals. I am really passionate about people's lives and love listening to stories. I feel so much enriched by human encounters!
I also think that sharing is a good way to practice trust, generosity, openness - which we need so badly in this world!

Interests

I love languages and photography, poetry, arts. I love all kinds of sport, from swimming to running to biking, which I regularly practice in my everyday life, and any kind of outdoor and physical activity: I really can't stand still! I also love and practice yoga regularly.
I love dancing, singing, playing music: in fact, I’ve played music for most of my life (flute, guitar, piano, and double bass).
Working in the countryside I've learnt I've learnt how to make cheese, bread, pick vegetables and so on, and I adore that! I especially love working with the animals, in particular with cows, sheep and goats.
