About Me
Hi couchsurfers!
I'm Cindel and live in beautiful Ghent, Belgium! I love traveling and meeting new people, and when I'm not traveling, it's always fun to meet people that are, since they give you the traveling vibe.
The time I'm in Belgium, I spend working, but also trying to make the most out of each day. This I do through going to poetry events, taking pictures of other human beings, going to concerts, meeting up with friends, taking a walk alone through my own city to admire it, ...
I'm always up to go have a drink and show you around Ghent!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because meeting travelers gives me the traveling feeling, and staying with locals when traveling, adds a whole different feeling to traveling. It's about creating even better memories than when you're simply going on hotel.
I love different cultures, meeting new people and learning about their ways of living, because it makes me think about my own life. As an open-minded person, I love to meet people who are on couchsurfing, as they usually are quite open-minded as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is one of my favorite things on this planet. When seeing artist on the street, my whole day brightens up, and when I'm at a concert, the music can bring me to another place.
I can't say what my favorite genre is, as I have so many different styles I love. It goes from classical, to pop, to hiphop, to metal, to, probably my favorite if I HAVE to pick one, indie.
I can enjoy pretty much any movie, unless it's just a really bad one.
My favorite book so far is definitely Belle from Lesley Pearse.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Actually living, and being happy with myself and my surroundings. Not enough people do that.
And skydiving !
