Overview
About Me
New York City-born and I lived in Southern California for a while. I studied urban planning and I love almost every place I've been to. I live in the most ethnically diverse neighborhood in the world in Queens, so it's a little bit like getting to travel all the time, but actual traveling is really great too :)
**Note: my location is listed as Maryland, NY because I have a campground there and that's where I can host, but I live in Queens NYC**
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had really great couchsurfing experiences and they were totally different from one another. I had great experiences in Vancouver, Montreal, and Oaxaca. I've met companions for wandering around, dancing salsa, and visiting ancient ruins.
Interests
My favorite things to do are to cook, to be out and about in cities, to eat, to swim. I love long-distance train rides (the best one is Denver <> Bay Area). More recently I started taking ceramics and pole dancing (!). I have a bit of land in upstate New York near Oneonta that I go camp on - message me about staying there if you're in the area!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I drove about 800 miles or so down Baja California when I was a college freshman with two people I knew and seven people I didn't. On the way down we came within a split second of a horrible car crash with a coach bus on the 1 highway; it seemed impossible for us to make it out alive but somehow we did. The next day we reached a pristine beach on the sea of Cortez with glassy blue water, mountains rising up from the sea and roadside fish tacos in our bellies. My to-be best friend and I splashed around all day.
Another time I camped with friends on a big rock that looked out over Moab, UT and pooped in a ceilingless outhouse while gazing at the stars.
