About Me

I own my own home in North Central BC, I love animal, all animals, I name my wild friends just he same. I have worked since I was 14, I love instructing and would like to see what opportunities are out there. My children are all grown and gone. I have always traveled and have been very comfortable traveling alone. I enjoy immersing myself into the country and culuter that I visit rather than go for the "tourist trap". I find that gives me an experience like none other. (not that I don't like the tourist attractions)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here at the suggestion of my last two professors. They both do this and when we go talking they both said it was a wonderful way to see the world and have a "real" look at the places that you visit.

So, here I am.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music: Top forty from the 70's, 80's and 90's And always Pink Floyd
Favorite Movie: I have lots, right now it's "It's complicated", "The Best Exotice Marigold Hotel" and "Django"
Favorite Books: What ever strikes my fancy at the time. I read everything from Historial Novels to light summer reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel everywhere by myself when I was 18-23 years of age, I loved going on my own, meeting new people and experiencing the places on my own terms.

Professorially, I instructed a class of 24 First Nation Adult learners and they ALL graduated. It was a first the that college ever to have a 100% pass rate.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a good understanding of plants and animals that has always come naturally to me. I use plants in there natural habitat for medicinal reasons and have taught others. I have a way with animals that is just there. I am a behaiourist and could share my "take" on people, places and other.
