I'm currently on a perpetual journey, learning from others and seeking out my role in this world. I left home (the United States) in September 2024, and have traveled through parts of Southeast Asia / China / India, and now in Europe. I'm also seeking a new place to call home, as I no longer want to return to the United States.

Growing up in the pacific northwest, I naturally developed a passion for nature. Currently, I'm interested in the various intersections between environment and culture - from urban planning to food webs to sustainable agriculture, and how this influences standards of living.

When traveling, I enjoy exploring local neighborhoods, finding good vegetarian food, and shazaming songs I stumble across along the way.

In terms of concrete hobbies, I currently enjoy spending time outdoors, learning french, listening to music, exploring hidden corners of the city, and learning to sew. At home, I was also very interested in natural crafts (such as making pottery from clay I foraged, or weaving a basket from harvested cedar, or braiding fibers from Himalayan blackberry), but it's more difficult to do those kinds of activities when abroad.
