Hi! I'm Cindy.

I have essentially taken a career break to reassess what's important and one of these, is my urge to travel (I was just in Europe for the past 4 months - backpacked for 3 with my partner and am now in SE Asia for my last leg).

About Me:
- I love food. I eat a lot. Like. A lot. So any recommendations are always welcomed.
- I don't mind a night out and a boogie but I also do love sports and nature.
- I enjoy photography and am very much an amateur!
- Easy going and will go with the flow.
- A good conversation will always make my heart warm.
- I will always give my respect and hope to receive the same.

Like most people on CS, I love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, eating, trying and exploring.
I love trying new cuisines and am a firm believer to try most things at least once! I am currently looking to meet some hosts in my travels in the hopes that one day I can do the same for you in Australia as I think that's the best way to learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing in the hopes of meeting people on my current travels that are like-minded and want to exchange their wealth of knowledge. I've always wanted to live in different cities so I can immerse myself in the culture and this is the perfect line between living and travelling.
I hope that I'll be able to provide some insights about where I am from just as I would love to learn from you. Hopefully some day I will be able to host you also :)

I appreciate all forms of music and love listening to different genres. I even have a playlist name "Sunny Days" for exactly that, a sunny day!
I don't mind a bit of a dance here and there either.

It would be too hard to list my favourite movies and TV shows... I'll save this for discussing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tongariro Alpine Crossing in New Zealand- it was a 20km hike and took us 8 hours BUT it was breathtaking and totally worth it!

I was learning Muay Thai before I embarked on my backpacking trip.

I am very clean, respectful and happy to go with the flow. In fact, I love the idea of spontaneity, some of the best times have been unplanned.
