Overview
About Me
Hey there!
It's the hardest thing to describe yourself. Anyway, I'd call myself an open-minded and spiritual person, always curious to meet new people, hear new opinions and worldviews, and travel new places. I studied cultural science, philosophy and intercultural communication in different cities. Afterwards, I joined various NGOs, campaigning for legal migration and a borderless Europe. Currently, I am working on my PhD and falling in love with Yoga and Meditation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of Couchsurfing because it benefits everyone: Those who are able to travel at the present moment and those who have to stay at home. It's an awesome opportunity to meet like-minded people and make friends all over the world. It is fantastic to show the city you live in and you love to travellers and to know that you'll have the chance to stay with a local once you took off to a new adventure.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love music!
I was raised with Queen, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Santana, and so on. Nowadays, I am still into Classic and Alternative Rock and some Indie from time to time. Recently, my ears got used to something more hardcore like Architects, Parkway Drive, The Ghost Inside, or Obey the Brave. Anyway, if worst comes to worst it's always "Riders on the Storm".
My favourite author of all times is Albert Camus. Apart from that, I am interested in anything around (Neo-)Essentialism. Right now I am getting deeper into Buddhist philosophy. Too many interesting books out there!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camping on a hill in Laos because the car broke down in the middle of the night.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my Yoga mat.
I can share my books, music and my guitar.
I can share some thoughts.
I can share food (I am far from being the best cook but there are some recipes I mastered!).
I can (AND WILL!) always share a big smile.
