Hey, I’m Cindy (森)— or Cyndi, Sandy, Sydney, Syndi...depending on which Starbucks barista you ask, a university student currently studying Economics in Canada. A little artsy, a little awkward sometimes, but always curious about the world and eager to connect.

I love traveling solo and just get started!– I’ve backpacked through France and the UK, and volunteered at events, language programs, and restaurants in both Toronto and China. I’m deeply drawn to cross-cultural exchange and meaningful conversations.

My interests are… kinda all over the place. From gaming on my Switch to dancing, love to watching Twin Peaks, and interest in spiritual stuff (yes, sometimes i use chatgpt for fortune-telling for fun 😆), anime cool, k-pop cool, rock n roll cool(especially emo kinda stuff, mcr biggest fan!), love drawing, love baseball, love musical, i bet you have something wanna share with me!

I’m someone who values emotional safety, clear boundaries, and genuine kindness. If you enjoy sharing stories, being respectful, and maybe geeking out about something random late into the night, then we’ll probably get along just fine. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, I traveled solo to Giverny, France — and somehow ended up in the filming of a popular Chinese reality show called Chinese Restaurant (中餐厅)! Totally unplanned but so much fun. I made two new friends while having lunch there, and we accidentally stayed too late to catch the train back to Paris. Luckily, a kind Chinese traveler who was also dining at the show kindly offered to drive us all the way back to Paris. That day felt like a tiny adventure — full of unexpected joy, new connections, and a reminder that the world is often warmer than we think.
