About Me

Hellow! My name's Cindy Cindy Crazy Crayray, or whatever you call it. No objection to any of the above because I am pretty hyper and crazy at times. Nice to meet you here and I hope we get to hang out in person to wrap ourselves with great positive energy.

I am either a full time Mechanical Engineering student throwing Friday night study parties or a full time believer who thinks we all deserve to have fun. So pulling all nighters to finish a project CAN BE fun if you're doing jumping jacks to wake yourselves up with your friends and having a junk food ceremony. Cleaning the house can also be fun if you're blasting dancing music and you're dancing and scrubbing at the same time! Aha! Even when I'm alone and having a calm downtime I appreciate the fun I can have by myself, sleeping through the day and enjoying the coziness in my pjs.

I've moved to downtown Toronto for my University in 2013. I love biking around everywhere, trying out new food I've never tried before, building robots and toys, climbing rocks and trees, travelling (actually this is a 'wanna be' cause I'm just starting now!), socializing with people and giving very hard hi fives.

Let me explain the 'wanna be' part for travelling, since this is a community for travelers. I haven't traveled whole lot yet on my own yet to have a long list of countries I've visited. But starting with New York City and back country canoe portaging trips I did last few summers, I realized how much I would love travelling new places, whether it being the biggest/busiest city or it being open water seeing more birds than humans! They were both eye opening experiences and I want to see how big my eyes can open if I kept going to new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

AS A SURFER

I would love to connect with new people at different places and thought this is the best! I am curious to know how living wherever you're living is like and where you go to enjoy the city, on top of most things that tourists do. Your tips and tricks around for your city/place will be like cotton candy and whip cream on top of ice cream (not just a sprinkle!), making the experience more than just exciting.

AS A HOST

*I will ONLY be responding to personal messages, so please read my profile and learn Cindy :) Also as a female student living in a bachelor apartment that we will be sharing spaces directly (not having separate rooms), I want to be cautious and want to start with NOT accepting male travelers (single or a group). Apologies in advance!*

I am a host with a BALL PIT! Yes you heard it right, we can hang out in a big ball pit together and talk about Toronto! I am new to this Couch Surfing but am excited to get into it and hope to meet you all from all around the world. I may not be home a lot of the times as I keep myself busy with school or work, but would love to talk about the city or why I have a ball pit when I'm home talking to you.

Also, I will be accepting guests after May 5th, when I'm done with the school term.

Music
- Top 40 is lame and perfect for upbeat house cleaning sessions
- Indie, Korean Indie
- Local band music that nobody listens to (I feel special)
- Classical music
- Live Jazz or orchestral concerts
- Choir music
- Remix of old pops (I know...you would hate it, saying that it ruins the original songs)
- Disney playlists

Movies & Books
- The Dark Knight
- Studio Ghibli movies
- Disney/Pixar
- Hide and Seek (Korean thriller movie, the scariest movie I've watched so far)
- Optics for Dummies (books I read for fun)
