About Me

I am 32 years old.I used to work in the financial sector but I am currently a full time mom, part time facilitator and educator and volunteer at a local NGO. I am married and have two small children.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a gift of hospitality and enjoy meeting new people. I also have unused space that can be utilised by a person who needs accommodation. I love teaching people about the culture and history of my surroundings and give them an opportunity to experience my town and country in an authentic way.
My husband and I love traveling. We favour less commercialised travel experiences and having local, authentic experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

Get involved in a local humanitarian project that provides sustainable solutions for economic and social development
Learn about the history and culture of the Rustenburg area
Experience local cuisine and see how the locals live. Can arrange for a tour to a local informal settlement(squater camp)
Running, cycling, “kloofing”, game drives, hikes and swimming in mountain pools can be arranged and accompanied in one of the local surrounding nature reserves of which the most popular are, Pilansberg National park, Kgaswane game reserve and Mountain sanctuary park

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have extensive knowledge about loads of random things that people generally find interesting, we have the enthusiasm for hours and hours of boardgames. The energy for back to back excursions and the grace to grant guests their privacy and rest. We can make excellent recommendations as we have broad knowledge on the surrounding area.
I can offer a loft bachelors appartment in a lifestyle estate bordering a nature reserve with separate entrance, a fully equipped kitchenette and a small private bathroom.
