Overview
About Me
Hi there! I’m Cindy, a Brazilian girl from Pará (gateway to the Amazon!) . I’m also a recently graduated architect, very easygoing and positive. (I have to point out that it is difficult to talk about yourself and not be cliche hahaha)
I love talking to people and listening to their stories. Life is about learning, teaching, exchanging experiences, sharing feelings, having fun and looking for happiness on everyday life, meanly in the little things.
I'm also very passionate about photography, and you can see that passion and other things about me on my Instagram: @cindy.trindade.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To have more meaningful experiences than just do tourist trips. It is much more interesting to know a new place/culture through the eyes of a local.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
Sometimes I think my musical taste is a mess and this can easily be seen in my spotify profile because at one point I'm listening to The Beatles, and suddenly I'm listening to Brazilian funk hahaha I love listening to indie pop, lo-fi, classic/alternative rock, hip hop, r&b and lately I've been listening and loving Brazilian popular music more and more.
MOVIES
Before Trilogy, Big Fish, Inglourious Basterds, The Godfather, Visages Villages, Medianeras, Forrest Gump, Frances Ha and About Time.
BOOKS
Alice Walker, Clarice Lispector, Gabriel García Marquez, Jorge Amado and Aldous Huxley are my favorite authors.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
These stories deserve to be told in a bar. Actually anywhere, as long as it's with a beer. or wine. it can be cachaça too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you some Portuguese words, some (simple) Brazilian recipes, how to make caipirinha drink and a little about Brazilian twerk, although I'm not very good at it, because I'm a mess dancing - I don't know how to dance samba either :( but mysteriously I learn how to dance when I drink some beers. Besides that, I would like to improve my English, learn new languages and more about other cultures.
As I'm passionate about my country and my origins, I can share a lot of things and curiosities about my culture. And I really love listening to people, so I can share good conversations, about almost everything.
