I am a 35 year old Swiss Girl. Being Swiss, our life (as in general I guess) is mainly about work, earning money to pay taxes, insurance and rent. To me this seemed odd and not how life should be spent.
I have always been fascinated by different countries and their cultures. I teached myself Englsih at the age of 6 and left Switzerland to attend High School in the U.S at the age of 16 (which was a simply nuts thing to do for a swiss girl back then 😅).

Being independant I have taken the step to leave switzerland again (after having lived in the Maldives for the past 6 years), and discover Asia.

I have just spent two months on Nusa Penida (Bali, Indonesia) getting my Divemaster certification. Yes- I am a little Mermaid🧜🏻‍♀️

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Due to my situation of being a traveler and not having a "home", I am unable to host anyone. Sorry🙈
However, I am hoping to make many amazing experiences as a surfer♥️

Interests

I am in love with the ocean- mostly scubadiving. I wish I could stay down there and watch the fish forever 😍

Whether its hiking in the alps, skydiving, Kitesurfing, diving, visiting Live concerts, snowboarding, visiting all sorts of sports events (strange for a girl, but yes I'm CRAZY about Ice Hockey :o)

I'm up for almost anything as long as its entertaining and fun.

I love visiting Openair Festivals (which are huuuuge in Switzerland in summer) and discovering new bands.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* snorkeling with a group of Manta Rays- not to be described

* seeing wild Dolphins under water- not once - not twice - but until now 5 times - wohooo :oD

* Being incredibly afraid of heights.....jumping out of an airplane in New Zealand...with a parachute of course ;o)

* Working at the World Economic Forum and meeting all the famous politicians of this world

* learning how to Dive - a thrill.

* hiking over Aletsch-glacier in Switzerland.

* snow skiing with the view on Matterhorn
