ABOUT ME

I love to travel and meet new people. I try to travel when I can and being a teacher helps with that. :-) I really enjoy meeting new people, particularly ones from different cultures. While I am a poor language student, I also enjoy learning a little bit from different languages... I just finished a year living on the asian side of Istanbul as part of a teacher exchange program and just returned to Portland this summer...

PHILOSOPHY

I live to see the world and all its wonders! I believe it is only through knowing the world that you begin to know yourself :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been to a large number of gatherings, travelled as part of CS meetings, surfed a couple of times and hosted once but hope to improve these numbers. I have also tried to spread the word about this great program to others :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done something like couchsurfing for years but am quite happy to see the existance of CS! :) I was very active when living in Istanbul and hope to continue being active now that I am back in the USA
