ABOUT ME

Well I am a high school teacher that has decided to take the year off and travel. I am super interested in travelling and learning new cultures. I aspire to learn new languages as well. I am easy going and I get along well with most people. I love the theatre but I am a huge sports fan as well. I was born and raised in a super small community but the city is my home away from home. So I am a small town girl that has been a bit cityfied (if thats a word!)

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest, its too short not too. Be happy and grateful for all the things that you do have, do not focus on what you do not have or cannot do!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am just new at this looking to get into it while I travel to Australia and New Zealand. When I come home I plan on having a couch for people to stay on. If anyone has any advice or suggestions on this whole Couch Surfing thing I will be willing to take them!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just am new at this whole thing, a friend just recently got back from travelling the world with his wife and told me all about it.

Interests

theatre, sports (NHL hockey especially), music, and of course travelling! I am a teacher so I love learning new things. I have very close relationships with my friends so I love spending time with them and checking out new adventures. I love white water rafting, camping, fishing, off roading, horse back riding,snowboarding, but I love me a really good book as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Tom Cruise!! So all movies with him I love!! But I love action and comedies!

Music...I am a country music fan (Kenny Chesney, Rascall Flatts, Carrie Underwood) I also enjoy Jack Johnson, James Blunt, and John Mayer. But I really love it all!!

Books: Monkey Beach, 5 People you meet in Heaven, Pride and Prejudice, The Catcher in the Rye. I also really enjoy reading books on health, nutrition, a lot of history (wars), and biographies of influential people in the world.
