ABOUT ME

My name is Cindy. After I graduated from University, I decided to leave Chicago to see what else the world has to offer me. I got a TEFL certification and decided to quit my job and go abroad. I've spent some time in London, Spain and France enjoying what there is to see in Europe. Unfortunately, my tour has ended, and I'm back in Chicago. While I can't wait to go back, I've used couchsurfing here in my home city to meet people, and in hopes of giving the same hospitality others have given to me.

Not usually hosting, but I'd be more than happy to take some time to show you the city, do some of the touristy things with you, or meet you for dinner or drinks. I love meeting new people, so I'd love to be able to at least make your experience in my city more enjoyable!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I've been traveling, I've used CS to surf a couple of times, but aside from that I've used it to meet people. I've also hosted one person, and when I'm done traveling, I wouldn't mind doing it again ;) I've had a lot of good experiences and have made a lot of good friends with this site! :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm a city girl and nature always surprises me with how beautiful it can be. Seeing the ocean for the first time in The Bahamas. Seeing mountains for the first time in Spain. The list goes on :)

Teach, Learn, Share

- I am certified to teach English, so if you need tutoring, I can help!
- I love food, and would love to learn recipes from different cultures. Also, I would be interested in language exchange.
- I love running, and am always looking for running partners, whether they are visiting or living in my city.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Insight on the differences between my country and yours. Traditional Mexican dishes (as long as the ingredients exist in your country!). I am a great running partner if you're into running :)
