About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"I go to seek a Great Perhaps" - John Green

ABOUT ME

I'm a uni student from Australia currently studying abroad for a year in Lyon, France. I'm keen to wander and explore, to meet new people and to learn about different places and things. I have an odd sense of humour (maybe it's an Aussie thing) and I'm always up to try something new!

I love to write and hope to one day publish something.
I'm a coffee lover.
I tend to hibernate in winter but I will come out if there's a chance of snow (I've never seen snow).

PHILOSOPHY

Don't let yourself fall into a routine. Life's too interesting for that. Find something that makes you happy and pursue it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still new to Couchsurfing but I've heard many, many good things about it from fellow friends!

Interests

I enjoy travelling (somewhat of a given), writing, reading, philosophy, politics, music, food (eating, mostly). But I wish I could cook!

I also watch quite a few tv series, preferably in a marathon-style.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to name! Admittedly I love a good Penguin Classic but I also enjoy reading tragic young-adult romance novels. My tastes in music range from indie-rock to radio pop and everything in between. I cry every single time I watch Titanic and I'm always, always up for a horror movie marathon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sun set over Chefchaouen in Morocco.

I also saw the band Mayday Parade live in concert on a boat with 200 other concert goers in Paris. It was the single most unforgettable experience I've ever had.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Monaco, Morocco, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, France
