ABOUT ME

Hello,
I'm a friendly Canuck, born and raised in the Nation's capital, Ottawa; however, I now live in Vancouver, British Columbia, a beautiful province rich with mountains, ocean and enchanting natural wonders. I spent a lot of time in Australia, Colombia and Mexico.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy on life is to try to learn and love as much as possible and to always be improving myself. I've learned that people have such different ways of living their lives and no one way is necessarily the 'right way' ... so just live and let live! Try to appreciate what each individual has to bring to the table. Maybe you can learn something from them while you're at it.

I have surfed throughout Latin America, a little bit of Australia, Canada, and Europe and hosted a couple of times.

Interests

My hobbies include traveling (obviously) writing,riding my bike, running, cooking and dancing of any kind, especially salsa dancing. I'm introverted, but I love to connect meaningfully with people and enjoy life. I'm a decent cook and especially like entertaining friends. I also really like having quiet time by myself, thinking, reading, and daydreaming.

Music: Latin music, Motown, 90s music, hip-hop for dancing, top 40, Edith Piaf, Adele...almost anything except headbanger music and hardcore rap.
Movies: Pride and Prejudice, the Bourne movies, Romcoms, and documentaries about strong women.
Books: Eat Pray Love, Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Idiot, Station Eleven, Calypso, The Last Black Unicorn

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Performing in front of hundreds of people at the New York Salsa Congress was an amazing experience! I also do standup comedy and have performed at some of the top clubs in Canada!
