ABOUT ME
First of all READ THIS:
CouchSurfing is about SHARING and GIVING.
If your idea of CouchSurfing is "free accommodation" or you think I run a hotel, please don't contact me. Respect the fact that people open up their homes and their lives. So at least READ MY PROFILE and send me a request that shows you read it. I'm really starting to get annoyed about the kind of requests I'm receiving and this makes me think about not hosting anymore.
That said:
I'm a very sociable, extraverted woman. I believe in learning for life. I learn every day. I'm a woman full of contradictions: relaxed, energetic, silent, talkative, social, insecure, party animal, loner,... But isn't everyone?
I'm a single mum of 2 wonderful boys, Balder and Thorin.
I combine two jobs because I don't like routine. It's very busy to combine two jobs but I love doing them and they also offer me a lot of freedom.
I work as a piercer in a tattooshop and in a home for teenage girls. It's seems like two totally different jobs but it's more similar than people think. With both jobs the main focus is on working with people. I like working with people.
I don't like to put people in boxes and don't want to be put in a box myself. There are as many boxes in the world as there are people...
I 'm very openminded but I don't tolerate hate, racism or prejudice. Not in the street, not in a pub and definitly not in my house. Besides that, everyone is welcome in my house; male, black, female, non binary, white, queer, straight, young, old,...
PHILOSOPHY
Dance like nobody is watching, try to live like nobody is watching... I do my best :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the best way to travel is to not be a 'real' tourist. I prefer seeing a city or country trough the eyes of people who live there on day to day basis. It's much more fun to meet new people, locals, .... than to go back to your hotelroom without experiencing that. I think that for this to happen CS is a very good way!
I already met some awesome people through couchsurfing. Connections for life. It seriously enriched my life. The only sad thing about it is that your new friends live far away...
