CURRENT MISSION

Update - I am currently living and teaching English in Japan and hope to have a bed/sofa soon!

Finished 5 years of teaching in South Korea and a journey through South East Asia. Now I am in the USA for 3 to 6 months, hopping on buses, planes, couches, blow up mattresses, bed, floors! I haven't been able to host much as I have lived in a tiny studio apartment in South Korea for 5 years, COUCHLESS but am looking forward to hosting once I am settled at home.

ABOUT ME

I am down to earth, I like being outdoors, hiking, walking, nature, I love music, books, real conversations, laughing, film, photography, art, yoga, creation... I do like a good party, but these days prefer the quieter things in life :)

PHILOSOPHY

I just want to live my life from my heart, and I hope to see the world do the same.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Japan and it was an amazing experience!! I have beautiful memories of relaxing with my kind hearted and generous host from Syria, another couch surfer from Germany; whilst relaxing with his friends from Sweden, Switzerland, California and Syria. One of the most interesting and mind opening nights spent talking about life, travel and ourselves.

It's always the people not the place, so whilst I miss backpacking in Asia, I can at least hopefully meet and share with other couch surfers :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life amazes me all the time, but so far to date what I found most amazing... Seeing Chris Cornell and Nine Inch Nails live in concert (I am from SA, this doesn't happen often), graduating from Univeristy, any time I spend in Nature and meeting people who move or inspire me... and maybe...
Driving through rush hour (misnomer) traffic in Bangkok on the back of a scooter in a crazy, mad area of town,
Skinny dipping in the waters of Boracay under a full moon,
Dancing under a Solar Eclipse in Africa 2002,
Shark cage diving 2006 (not an environmentally sound thing to do!)
Fasting for 4 days in Koh Phangan 2016,
Bungee Jumping
