HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My favorite part of traveling is meeting new people, so I much rather stay with people than stay in hotel rooms, alone. I intend to make my couch available for travelers once I'm settled back in somewhere in California.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with family and friends around the country many times, but I've never used this service before. My former roommates had couch surfers from the site stay with us several times and it was always fun getting to meet people.

I've travelled to almost every state in the US by car, having driven coast to coast 6 times. It's my version of the Forrest Gump running montage.

I hiked 220 miles along the John Muir Trail over 3 weeks with two old friends.
