Overview
About Me
My name is Cinthia. I have been teaching English, theatre, and yoga around the world for the past 3 years. I perform, direct, produce, and do sound design in theatre and entertainment. I practice holistic healing methods and enjoy learning from other people and cultures.
In my spare time I co-curate a feminist podcast called Las_Brujajas. Bruja= witch. Brouhaha= excitement, uproar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Getting to exchange with someone who lives in the place I am visiting is ideal. It is nice to have company rather than living hotel life.

Teach, Learn, Share
teach/share/exchange:
- yoga, breathing, meditation
- dance moves, any style, throw it at me
- singing jazz, classical, whatever, shamelessly
- English, Spanish language tutoring or practice
- basics of Japanese, speaking, reading and writing hiragana/katakana and a handful of kanji
learn/get better at:
- piano, guitar
- social dancing, willing to lead or follow, am much more practiced as a follow, particularly lindyhop. I'm okay at west coast, east coast, balboa, salsa, and bachata.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Conversation/informal practice about/of any of the above, I'm a fairly open book.
I practice some mixture of breathing, meditation, stretching, yoga, singing, or dance exercises every morning and night, and am happy to share.
I like to cook vegetarian or vegan dishes, make smoothies with a lot of ginger in the morning... I also like to bake. This all of course means I like to eat food. Sharing makes it better, hehe.
I can tutor or teach English, Spanish (mother's tongue), and the basics of the Japanese language (5 years study and many visits to Japan).
