About Me

Olar, Couchsurfer

I'm a 26 yo ESL teacher and vegan food is my religion. A-woman
I'm also the oldest of 3 siblings, and the tutor of Yuri the Dog and Bailey the Cat.

I graduated in Linguistics, so I would absolutely love to share some ideas in your native language.
because the more we know, the better, right?

I'd like to know each place I visit from a local's perspective and get off the beaten track, you know
Please, feel free to contact me if you ever need a place to stay in Rio. I can host 2/3 people, but bear in mind that I live far from the city center.
If you're not afraid of motorcycles, I can give you a ride during the day, since I work a night shift ✨

I live with my wife and we both love to cook and talk about Art, Literature, and Cinema, sometimes Politics, and how much Rihanna and Beyoncé should have a feature song.
I enjoy being around people who like to share stories, general knowledge and maybe a table at the local café :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that we are as big as the knowledge we have. Not only what we learn from books, but principally from life experiences. So CS is a means of having these opportunities of exchange.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. I've done voluntary work helping foreign doctors communicate with local indigenous populations and other groups of people in need some years ago.
2. Once, I saved a student from choking by using the Heimlich maneuver, which I learned during my voluntary work period.
