About Me

Some important traits about me that you might need to know before accepting me at your place or requesting to stay at my place:
1. I don't like being around smoke
2. I'm afraid of animals (including dogs and cats)
3. Sometimes I grind my teeth
4. I can sleep both in the darkness or with the light on
5. I would say I'm pretty clean and tidy

Generally, I'm passionate about environment and I've been active on various organizations to help on fighting climate change. At the same time, I'm also busy sitting in front of my laptop and unboxing things around my head to get critical original and creative idea for online marketing. I would call myself sporty and adventurous (in terms of things that challenge my adrenaline). Get to know more about me on www.itscinthya.com

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I like to meet new people. For me, staying with local people can give more experiences for the trip and that is another different excitement that we can get. The world might be huge, but we can always make it smaller by getting connected with people. So let's do that and enjoy the trip!

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really read books, but I pretty much listen to any music except heavy metal. And I watch comedy or romantic movies, I can't stand watching horror. I love all Nicholas Sparks' movies :p

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I went to Mount Bromo in East Java, Indonesia. I went with one British model who worked in Surabaya that time. On the same day we went to Bromo, I woke up at 5 AM, got to manage things until 9 AM then worked and finished at 7 PM. Had a quick dinner, slept for a couple of hours then went to Bromo with the British girl when both of us were in bad condition, like vomiting for several times. We went by car and it took like 3-4 hours to reach the area of the mountain. Did I say that it was a sudden trip that we just planned in the afternoon on the same day we went to Bromo? Well we didn't plan much, so we didn't bring any thick clothes, and we didn't expect that Bromo would be that cold, we thought it would be like 20 to 18 degrees C, turned out it was 8 to 10 C. My British friend wore shorts and tank top with, I wore long thin pants and wool sweater (that was the thickest I had) and that was all. What more crazy yet amazing was, we strolled by motorbikes in Bromo only for 2 to 3 hours to see the sunrise and took some pictures, cause we had another job started at 9 AM on the same day we arrived in Bromo.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know much about politics around the world, but I'd like to know about it, cause I believe in the power of believers who see the world as one for everyone. I'd also like to learn another languages and cultures. On other side, I'm pretty open to share any stories. Since I'm pretty good in digital tools and I speak Indonesian (which not many foreigners understand), I can teach that or anything that I know better.

What I Can Share with Hosts

There are always interesting stories from my life. Other than that, any material that is needed to be shared can be discussed. I'm welcome if I have to share food material or anything :)
