About Me
Hello there!
I speak here for me and my partner, Alexandre... both travelers. We met each other in a hostel at Bagan, in Myanmar, I was traveling alone across south Asia and he was doing the same. His favorite country in the world was Chile and I am Chilean, so... He is French, now we live together in France and we continue traveling, not more alone... Together we share good times and beautiful memories meeting nice people on Couchsurfing.
About me: I grew up in a super small town called Canela Alta in the North Central of Chile, there was no TV there and because of that I used to read,... a lot of books and stories inspired me to learn and move out of that town... After 20 years of traveling I can say to travel is my favorite verb...
My comfort zone is the entire world 😅... wake up every morning in a new place, with new people and new stories to hear is my favorite thing...
I was thinking of traveling around the world to find my place in it, but now I know there is not a specific place for me to stay all my life. I prefer to move, to be errant and lost sometimes...
I love to learn and improve myself.
About Alexandre: He loves to travel!! He has a free spirit and a good heart, always available to help and make jokes, he can easily adapt to any condition, he loves hiking on the mountains, trekking everywhere, diving, swimming, playing instruments and to move without any schedule.
Together we are just a happy couple, trying to live life in the most simple sense posible. We travel any time when it is possible with a small backpack and full of energy and good vibes. The most important thing for us is to learn and enjoy life. We are respectful and friendly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is for us the place to feel sure and grateful, most of the time we meet nice people, we got good friends here! It is also a place to offer somebody hospitality, friendship and at the same time is definitely the best way to know new places from the heart of their people, because when you meet locals , you really learn about the local culture and you get a perspective more interesting than any information you can get like a tourist…

Music, Movies, and Books
Cintia: I like in general latin culture, I listen the lyrics more than the instruments... I love reading! Isabel Allende, Murakami, Benedetti...
Alexandre: He listen all kind of music and dance all what is possible ;) He loves documentaries, movies like Alien and is not to interesting on reading.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cintia: I traveled alone from Chile to Mexico, and I never was totally alone…I found my partner in the cheapest hostel in Birmania :)
Alexandre: I traveled for two years across Latin America and Asia… Traveling changed my life!
Together, we were blocked in Egypt for four months because of the Covid! We were staying with a couchsurfing host all that time, he is today a good friend!
Teach, Learn, Share
We love to cook, to talk and share good times, we use couchsurfing no because we want to save money, we prefer to meet local people instead to follow the information or activities for tourists; we consider ourselves travelers, more than 20 years traveling , maybe more than 40 countries visited… We don't know the exact number of places visited, but we remember every person we meet around, and we are so grateful for all the connections. We are learners and we can share everything we know.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We like to help, talk and learn...We are clean and respectful. For us the most important is to live and be happy with the minimum, we travel light. We are kind of people collecting moments not things.
