ABOUT ME

Well, well, well.what can i say? I was born in Southern Italy from Peruvian parents and now I live in Milan, a city that I learned to love, where now I have a full time job and I spend my free time doing different activities and making stuff, like i try to be a "designer", even if i prefer to use the word artisan, I make clothes using old ones that maybe we don't use anymore or found like in a flea market (love flea markets) or just found around:
we live in a very consumerist system, we want to have and have more and when something is broken we throw it away or if it's not fashion anymore we don't need it. We don't think what is behind, like how and who made this clothes ( or objects in general), the abominable quantity of resoursers used like water, petrol, fossil carbon ecc. and the low working conditions of the labours. I like to make the comparison with food, if we want to eat in a healthy way we read the labels and we care about the ingredients and where they are grown and of course we don't eat Mc Donalds. the same should be also for the clothes ( or objects) so we should stop buying from this fast fashion chains
I like photography,I had the chance to partecipate at a collective with a work about self-portrait and Identity at a "Festival of Ethical photography" and then in Rome.
I'm part of a voluntary association where we try to promote our roots and culture and we organize co-development/environnement projects in South America.
and by night i like to go around, sharing a good beer with my crazy friends that i love so much, talk about nothing, laugh about everything. X)
I'm vegan.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that every human being has the power to change the world, but we need to be together and fight for the ideals that we believe in. and art is the best weapon we can use.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

august 2013, first time in Poland and first time experiencing couchsurfing: the best summer of my life. i met super cool and nice people, we spent a great time together like we were friends since forever. That was an amazing feeling and a happy memory.

i grew up with punk rock groups ( Bad Religion were my idols) Lately i'm into reggae and dub music ( with big sound systems), i also like gypsie music, from the Balcans or swing.
