我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

i've been a member since 2010. it's a nice way to meet like minded or interesting people and exchange culture and make friends.

兴趣

always looking for a nice conversation or someone i get along with. good company is a good time.

i enjoy photography, cycling, all types of sports, music, language and art.

i like real and genuine things. increasingly hard to find in a modern world.

音乐、电影和书籍

many types of music and always listening to new ones. currently listening to flamenco, samba, piero umuliani, miles davis, townes van zandt.

many books. war and peace, tender is the night, candide, and catch-22, among others.

i don't really watch tv or movies anymore. but a couple movies i watched this year that i rate highly: days of being wild by wong kar wai and only yesterday by isao takahata.

a few highlights. the ganges, the himalayan and andes mountains, angkor wat and ayuthhaya, cycled through patagonia and vietnam, played football in seven countries, traveled to 41/50 u.s. states, a dozen usa national parks, many thousands of kilometers of road trips by car and motorcycle.
