Veteran traveller/trekker like to get in the mountains...about 11 trips to Himalaya Nepal again last year, first time in Khumbu/Everest region in monsoon season!! Scots heritage, Im drawn back...did Cuillin Ridge on Skye with my brother when I was 17...rock climbed for years ....now walk, trek, cycle etc would like to get a better tennis game happening....may have left my run too late !!!

ABOUT ME

born in UK mainly been living in Australia, current base Hobart, Tasmania. I have travelled extensively,USA Europe, Iran, Afghanistan etc through to SE Asia climbed on biggest rock walls in Europe,in Norway..My main interests these days are..exploring wild places, walking, biking, climbing, permaculture gardening,photography....I've just made a couple of trips up into western himalaya,Baltistan,Nubra valley,Spiti etc mainly Buddhist high arid country though Balti stay was with Sufi's in Karakorum Mts. I maintain a keen interest in nutrition and diet and have a fairly high raw diet...I like to engage in singing, chant sessions, meditation, massage and I study/practice qi gong and try to stay pretty fit and strong biking and walking in the mountains etc also interested to get more involved in energy healing work, building passive solar home and growing nutrient dense food.I've recently done some woofing in NZ and have become more interested in Vegan Organics and remineralizing food as a path to good health.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done some really good mountain and rock routes and trips to high himalaya trekking, visiting gompas taking the highest road at 5,600 mts....bout 18,300 ft I think...have sailed 85 kmts from eye of a cyclone north of Tahiti!!.....scarey........not dead yet, though the himalayan bus journeys take you very close....especially Nepali drivers.....lunatics abound. Hey twas only supposed to be one thing!!

Teach, Learn, Share

...well i'd like to take the qigong and energy work further particularly in relation to healing..maybe a healing centre/garden/retreat and always interested to learn more about propogation and plants.

What I Can Share with Hosts
