About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the world become a better place in all the ways I possible can, in cooperation with as many people as I possible can.
ABOUT ME
I am as openminded, honest and considerate in social relations as I possibly can be. And in my professional life my focus is to help people feel better about themself and 'master the art of being human', through words, teaching, therapy and art. Creating good atmosphere and try to develop harmony around and within people, great and small, is and has always been a huge and very satisfying challenge in my life, and I love and cherish every moment of it.
PHILOSOPHY
If you do what you love, you'll always love what you do.
It is not always easy to get to the point where it is all about love, but a very satisfying task to try to get there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have had earlier experiences with the like-minded organisation, funded in 1949 in Denmark, Servas, and had some really great experiences, especially on my trip through USA in the late 90's. And, after heaving left my nomadic life behind (because I became a mom some years ago), I am now ready to join this lifestyle once again, both hosting and surfing. It is a brilliant way of exploring the world, not only is it possible for people with less access to wealth to have the freedom to see the world, it is also the best way to achieve a much more valuable kind of wealth, the connection and friendship with other people from all kinds of different cultures, all over the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just had my first experiences, with two times two travellers at the same time (was such a nice experience) and I am looking foreward to have many more of both kinds. We just moved to a bigger place and now have more space to acommodate two, and sometimes even four, travellers, and are very much looking foreward to it. And also to go on trips ourselves. See you out there :)
Interests
Seriously, I like to play! With all the things I enjoy in life.. exploring the world of words, play with stories, and try to 'newthink' my approach to teaching, studying, mindcoaching, crafting, partying, travelling, raising my son, hanging out with family and friends.. everything. So I include 'play' in every aspect of my life, and try to help others to get to the point where play again is a conscious approach in living their lives. I write my own stories, study stories at the university, the religious kind and every other kind the danish language represent and expres. I teach occasoinally in german, religion and danish at a little private school in my hometown, I work as a mindcoach with a narrative technique that 'sets the mind free' to play again and make one a 'master in the art of Being human', which is very exiting. And whenever I get the chance, financially or have time, I go travelling to a city, country, worldpart, and always enjoy good, old or new, company at home or 'out there', and challenge my senses in many ways. And basically, I LOVE LIFE and the FREEDOM I have to enjoy it my way!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked alone through USA for half a year and had many mindblowing and unforgettable experiences on my way. The one I remember the most was a trip to a real Navajo Sundance ceremony where I witnessed several people go through the hardcore ritual, and I also smoked a peacepipe with some of them. Amazing. But after that, (which took my breath that much away that I in the beginning fainted, simply passed out for a minute), my young Navajo friend and I went to see the Grand Canyon. And the guy, eventhough he lived only two hours away, had never been there before. There were so many others around, he thought it was 'just another canyon'. I had been there the day before and had been pretty overwhelmed, and therefor prepared for the magic. And had my fun (he had been laughing (kindly) when I fainted), when he sat down, looking over the canyon from the place at the southrim we were at, and said, oh my god, what did I miss, what did I miss..! It is so amazing a place and impossible to describe. We climbed over the fence, a little down and to the right and found the rock shelf that a guy from the Hostel told us about, and sat down there with our beers, sodas, bread, cheese and fruit, and stayed there all day until the sun started to settle down. Then we went up and watched the sunset on safer grounds. We could untill then not see any tourists, they not us, and I had on this little spot, where we felt almost alone in this whole magnificent universe, the time of my life!! On top of that, it was my birthday. The most unfogettable birthday ever!
