About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make more people aware of and take action in questions about the environmental problems

ABOUT ME

What to say...I'm a child in a grown up body. I like to be out in the nature and I'm trying to live a calm life without consuming too much. I lived one year in Italy almost eight years ago and the family I lived with is still a very important part of my life. Somthing else that has always been an important part of my life are animals and I guess that comes from growing up on the countryside. Right now I live in a flat together with three cats that I'm taking care of through an organization for homeless cats. Before I lived in a student corridor/dorm and I've met so many fantastic people from all over the world through this corridor and even if most of them don't live here any more we still keep in contact and try to meet from time to time. Right now I just finished my master in sustainable devlopment and I'm planning to start a new programe in cultural entrepreneurship in the fall. Dance is also becoming a more and more central part of my life and it is constantly showing me new ways of understanding myself and my surroundings. Not to mention all the wonderful people I've met rhough dance.

PHILOSOPHY

It's way too easy to judge others sometimes. Therefore, try to think at least twice before doing so.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I open my home to other travellers and try to make their stay here as nice as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted one amazing guy that had been...and still is travelling around the world. He had some fantastic stories and experiences to share and I hope to meet him again somewhere. I've also hosted a wonderful couple from Belgium and Poland. They were truly wonderful. A big friend group from Poland has also squeezed into the living room and they were so easy to get along with.

I used couchsurfing to find a host in Bremen and spent some great days there at a very warm hearted and friendly guy's place. I was also hosted by a girl in Madrid and most recently a very nice girl in Budapest. Tried to use in during my stay in New York but without any results.

Since I try not to travel so much anymore it's not so often I get the pleasure to use couch surfing but so far I have only had positive experiences.

Traveling by bus, ferry and truck driver to Istanbul via Spain and Italy summer 2008.
Living in caves for some days in Sardinia.

Teach, Learn, Share

Except from Swedish and Italian I can teach the basics poi (fire art). If you would like to learn some belly dancing I could teach you that as well. Most of all I like to discuss things, especially about life and the environment. I enjoy listening to other peoples' life experiences and point of views and also to learn new languages
