ABOUT ME
Olá!
My name is Francis, I'm a 25 years old brazilian currently living in Brasilia, Brasil.
I'm open minded, easy going, calm, but also very organized and practical. Although, I'm spontaneous, and open for adventures, cultures, experiences! I am intense and self-centered (inside my own crazy world!), and, of course, I allow myself to be transformed by people and places I meet! I like to share, love my friends, love animals and nature, details, and feeling inspired! I am in love with life, even on it's hardest moments.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything is important on it's impermanence.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to be connected to the community for eventual meetings, helping, being helped and sharing! The world is big, but it grows so much when we decide to share.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Once I've walked through the city and had lunch with an american who was couchsurfing at a friend's couch, and it was awesome.
I have hosted the sweetes french girl and have been hosted by two amazing girls when I traveled to Buenos Aires. All great experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: From Johnny Cash to Pink Floyd, Explosions in the sky, Sigur Ros, Arcade Fire, Jimi Hendrix, The Black Keys, The Beatles, Radiohead, Caetano Veloso, Fela Kuti, Rufus Thomas, Cocorosie, Regina Spektor,Bob Dylan, and so it goes... I'm always reaserching and finding new music, and I'm almost always addicted to something diferent! Nowadays I have been listening to a lot of rap, brazilian and american mostly.
Books: I read a lot of brazilian literature, but I'm addicted to Sophia de Mello and James Joyce. Walt Whitman's poems are my private oracle.
Movies: all kinds, specially drama and arts, but I love a Woody Allen on right moments.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wrote a book once, and I write poems about everything I see.
Teach, Learn, Share
Always. Those three words can resume life, in my opinion. I have a lot to learn and teach, and that is only possible with bond making, sharing, if it's just a smile or a whole life, it all counts!
