ABOUT ME

I love life, grateful for the experience. Retired, relaxed, ready to go. Healthy beyond words, like balance in my life, different for each of us. I enjoy traveling and travelers. I believe I can learn from anyone. There is so much to like, not sure what to include.

PHILOSOPHY

Hmm, we have relationships with everything in our worlds. Out homes, cars, clothes, friends, food, work etcetera. Out first and most important is the air around us, a close second it water followed by food. Our fourth relationship of value should be the one we have with ourselves, it is so important as it affects how we manage and enjoy all the other relationships we have with everything else around us. It really should read love thy-self then you can love thy-neighbor. Cannot have the second without the first.

Well I believe in the community of Couch Surfing, I offer a couch now and then. I travel much of the time so not as available as I might otherwise be.

Interesses

So much, everyday, learning, expanding my world. Travel of course, people of course, my own space and time. Being in the moment Books, lots of books. Activity, hiking, trekking, would like to do a bicycle ride somewhere. I so not like flying although I do it, otherwise how would I ever get anywhere. I am a morning person, exercise almost daily, would like to be a better writer. My girls, independent, still we manage to add to each others lives. Ya, that and more.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I like movies, not sure I have a specific category/genre, more of a two hour escape. Books are a favorite, my taste change, I like a pedestrian written science or philosophy books. Also enjoy fiction of all types. Love to dance but not really a music aficionado, even though I like most music.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I walked the "Camino de Santiago" the northern route, took me 37 days which included 2 rest days. It was profound for me.
I rode my motorcycle across the US for 4 months, lots of challenges however once again the memories are so gratifying. I have seen the positive and respectful attitudes of travelers, not tourist, travelers.

Boy I sure like the sound of learning and sharing, however I am not sure what I can share. I have had a wonderful life to this point, once again I am stuck for what I have to offer. I have done some traveling and been in business for many years, so maybe there is something.
