About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel on a mad whim in search of catalysts for growth.

ABOUT ME

I'm not new to traveling low needs style travel. I've mostly travelled America and have seen a lot of it. Notable places include Philly, Santa Fe, San Fran, Eugene, Moab, Sebastapol, etc. etc. etc.

I'm forever learning to be my truest self, trust the flow, balancing the dark and the light, the deep and the shallow. I connect easily with a pretty insane variety of people.

I surf, I'm a musician, and generally in terms of interests and abilities I'm a jack of all. The more varied the pursuits the more insight i gain into pretty much everything.

I cherish freedom. I'm for world change. I enjoy being part of the human family.

PHILOSOPHY

It's fluid.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted in the past but am unable to currently. I just landed in New Orleans a few days ago, fell in love with it, and have decided to move here. I've never found a better match in terms of a place that fits my way of being. I've seen a lot of places, but never one this strangely beautiful. Having some couches to stay on will really help me in this transition. Any length of stay offered is much appreciated and I can give back in a multitude of ways from cooking to whatever.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not through this site:

I've hosted a random Parisian who showed up at our door in Boston for over a month. He payed his rent with the occasional forty oz. He was an utter maniac. It was definitely a weird kind of disappointment when he left.

I've randomly been invited to stay at people's apartments while I was doing some urban camping more than a couple times.

Through the site:
I met this vegan chick well versed in anarcho philosophy through the site and crashed at her place. I still had a whole lot to learn about life and I learned a lot from our differences. Her roommate was this utterly twisted comic book artist Hans Rickheit. Check his work, especialy Chrome Fetus, if you're into weird macabre artwork.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mondo Trasho.

"The best."

Also, Boa, the original snakes on a plane.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I worked on a farm outside of Boston I watched the farmer and his workers lasso a cow. I was sitting on a flatbed hitched to a tractor and we were moving back toward the farm right beside them. What interested me most about it was that although there were two cows, they only had to lasso one of the two cows---the untethered sister cow followed the other one all the way back
