ABOUT ME
I am currently cycling around the nation, and documenting my journey and the people I meet. Being a documentary photographer and a 99% activist, I plan on documenting the stories from different occupiers in diferent cites and also document the people in between the major cites that are sympathetic to the occupy movement. I also plan on visiting areas with some of the areas with the highest unemployment and foreclosure rates and finding out the story of each of those areas and try to spread the idea of the 99% movement. I also plan on joining other traveling occupations and I would like to work with others to make a traveling flash occupation in small town as a way to connect with people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last election cycle I worked on a political campaign for Sen. Montgomery (Maryland District 14 (Before the most recent redistricting)). I was one of two staff and we were working 17+ hour days multiple times a week. After working on a campaign as staff, I have to admit that it was it's own special type of insanity. Secondly, I will never look at politics the same. However it paid off and we beat the corrupt incumbent in the primary and Sen. Montgomery became a state senior. Partly because of that campaign, gay marriage looks like it is going to pass in Maryland. Before gay marriage did not have the vote to pass the senate, and now gay marriage has passed the senate, and has passed the house of representatives, and is being sent to Gov. Martin O'Malley.
In 2009 I founded a small group that was committed to develop methods to keep the internet up and running in Iran for the people involved with the Iranian revolution. Iran was using internet censorship of this revolution to suppress the revolution. My group successfully implemented over a half dozen different counter-censorship systems in Iran. We worked hard and got those voices heard internationally, and succeeded.
After Katrina I moved down to New Orleans and volunteered as a coordinator at a volunteer camp. New Orleans at that point was the worst place on earth I have ever been. I survived my 5 months in the year after the storm down there solely because of my friends and reached the closest to a Zen like state in my life....
